Week 3

This is week 3 of the Breakthrough Coursing Course

Start of emotional week

Emotional Week.

We have finished the mental aspect of dealing with anxiety by using the One Moveā„¢ and now we shift gears and focus on the emotional side of anxiety and panic attacks.

Often what holds us back from a full recovery from panic/anxiety can be something on an emotional level. This weeks helps to clear that block away allowing you to heal faster.

We start with an important exercise on healing anxiety through compassion and forgiveness.

Are you beating yourself up?

I want to recap on yesterdays video on anger and frustration. Are you beating yourself up for having this problem with anxiety?

Resentment and anger towards yourself or your anxiety does not serve you. It robs you of your energy and keeps you feeling miserable. We forgive in order to heal and move on with our lives.

The acceptance you have been learning about in the One Move has forgiveness at its core. If you really come to accept a thing you learn to forgive it for any trouble it causes you.

You act in an open and kind manner towards it.

In the case of anxiety its about forgiving the unwanted intrusions at exactly the wrong moment. Forgiving the way it startles you in the middle of the night. Forgiving it for never giving you a moments peace.

I know how hard it is to forgive something that has tormented you so much but it is through forgiveness that you empower yourself and rise above it.

You must also forgive yourself and learn to stop beating yourself up.

Removing emotional blocks

This week we are focusing on removing emotional blocks that might hold your full recovery back.

One of the more difficult emotions that anxious people have to deal with is the frustration and despair of having this problem in the first place.

I want you to try and re-frame those emotions by getting you to think of this problem more as a potential gift.

Could your whole journey through anxiety actually be one of the most valuable lessons in your life?

I am going explain why anxiety, far from being a curse, can actually be something that can have a positive meaning and purpose for you. How the obstacle in the path becomes the path.

The obstacle is the path.

Some people found yesterdays video a real eye opener as you can start to see that maybe this thing (the anxiety) that torments you can have a hidden meaning or gift for you.

How the obstacle in your path become the path.

I believe anxiety can enable you to grow and develop in way that maybe not have been possible before. You see, once a person really faces their anxiety issue, they develop an inner strength that the average person never gets to develop.

No matter how many challenges you face, if you have not been challenged on a very inner level, you miss out on the opportunity to develop on that inner psychological level.

Real strength comes from facing a challenge like anxiety and learning to function all the while with it. You build that confidence each time to implement the One Move.

These are two of the most overlooked yet powerful tools you can use anytime to lift yourself up out of anxiety.

How to handle setbacks.

One of the more difficult things to deal with when recovering from any anxiety are setbacks. Setbacks cause a huge amount of emotional turmoil and can really throw people off course if they are not sufficiently prepared.

Today I am sharing an audio that will explain how best to deal with setbacks when they happen. It is very important you listen to it.

Setbacks are inevitable but once you fully understand that they are part of the healing process you can move past them with much greater speed.
